Order in the next 00:00:00 for delivery by 22:00 tonight across Istanbul

Accessibility statement

Last reviewed 1 July 2026. This page includes the things we have not fixed yet, because a statement that only lists successes is not much use to anybody.

Our target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the whole site. We are close on most pages and we test with a keyboard, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and with NVDA on Windows.

What is in place

  • Keyboard navigation throughout. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, including the mega menus, the delivery calendar, the filter panel and all drawers and dialogs.
  • Visible focus. A clear focus ring is never removed, and it has sufficient contrast against every background we use.
  • Focus trapping and restoration. Opening a drawer or dialog moves focus into it, traps it while open, and returns it to the trigger on close. Escape closes everything.
  • Skip link. The first tab stop on every page jumps past the navigation to the main content.
  • Semantic structure. One h1 per page, correctly nested headings, real landmarks, and lists marked up as lists.
  • Descriptive alternative text. Product images describe the arrangement rather than repeating the product name. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form labels and errors. Every input has a visible, associated label. Errors are announced, described in words rather than colour alone, and focus moves to the first problem.
  • Colour contrast. Body text meets 4.5:1 and large text meets 3:1 against its background throughout.
  • Reduced motion. If your system requests reduced motion, all animation, parallax and scroll reveals are disabled — content appears immediately rather than fading in.
  • Zoom and reflow. The site is usable at 400% zoom and at a 320px viewport without horizontal scrolling.
  • Touch targets. Interactive controls are at least 44×44px on touch devices.

Known problems we are still working on

  • The delivery calendar supports arrow-key navigation between dates but does not yet announce “3 slots remaining” to screen readers when a date is focused. Fix scheduled for Q4 2026.
  • The product image lightbox does not currently support pinch-zoom on iOS Safari when opened from the thumbnail strip.
  • Some older journal articles published before 2024 contain images with generic alternative text. We are rewriting these in batches.
  • The payment iframe is supplied by our processor and is outside our direct control. We have raised two contrast issues with them and are tracking their fixes.

If something does not work for you

Tell us and we will fix it, and in the meantime we will take your order over the phone with no rush and no time limit. That is not a workaround we are proud of, but it should never be the case that you cannot buy flowers from us.

We aim to respond within two working days with either a fix or a realistic date for one.

How we test

Automated checks run on every deploy. Beyond that, we do a manual keyboard-only pass and a screen-reader pass on the six pages that matter most — home, shop, product, basket, checkout and order tracking — before any significant release. An external audit is commissioned annually; the most recent was in March 2026.
