What we collect and why

What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, for any price.
- We do not share it with “marketing partners”. There are no marketing partners.
- We do not email recipients. They receive flowers, not a mailing list subscription.
- We do not track you across other websites for advertising.
Who we do share it with
Only the companies we need to run the shop, each of which processes data on our instruction and cannot use it for their own purposes:
- Payment processor — to take payment. They see the card; we do not.
- Email provider — to send order confirmations and, if you asked for it, the weekly note.
- SMS provider — to send the dispatch and delivery texts.
- Hosting provider — the servers this site runs on.
- Accountant — order records for tax purposes.
Where an order goes outside our own delivery zones we pass the recipient’s address to a courier. That is unavoidable — someone has to carry the box.
Card messages deserve a specific note
Card messages are frequently the most personal thing on this site. Ours are visible only to the florist writing the card and to the person handling your order if you contact us. They are deleted 90 days after delivery, they are never used for analytics, and they are never used to train anything.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, usually far sooner. There is no charge and no form.
Deletion has one limit: we must retain order and payment records for seven years for tax purposes. Everything else goes.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your basket and your delivery zone working; they cannot be turned off without breaking the site. Analytics cookies are optional and off until you accept them. Full detail on the cookies page.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it and is logged. If we ever suffer a breach affecting your data we will tell you directly and promptly, rather than issuing a press release and hoping.
