Potted Guzmania in Cream Powder Wrap with Craspedia & Lavender
A guzmania bromeliad with its bright long-lasting flower head, accented with red craspedia, cedar rose, lavender and lagurus, wrapped in cream powder paper.
The guzmania's bright, long-lasting flower head takes centre stage in this gift, wrapped in cream powder double-sided paper around a round white pot for a soft, gift-ready finish. Red craspedia add a playful pop of colour, dried cedar rose brings a rustic texture, sprigs of lavender lend a light fragrance and beige lagurus grass finishes the display with a soft, feathery touch, all tied together with a light pink ribbon. It suits a birthday or a congratulations just as easily as a simple thinking-of-you. After checkout, use the gift note page to add your own personal words.
What is actually in it
This gift centres on one guzmania bromeliad plant, accented with red craspedia, dried cedar rose, sprigs of lavender and beige lagurus grass, wrapped in cream powder double-sided paper with a light pink ribbon around a round white polymer pot 12 cm tall. Overall height is 40 to 50 cm. Small natural variations in the plant or the accents can occur depending on seasonal availability.
What it looks like on day four
As a potted plant rather than a cut arrangement, this guzmania keeps going well beyond the usual week or two of cut flowers. With the care above, its bright flower head typically stays colourful for two to three months, giving a much longer-lasting gift.
We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.
Keep guzmania out of direct sunlight, which can fade the colour of its bright flower head. The plant is sensitive to water quality, so water only with clean drinking water rather than tap water straight from the mains. Guzmania prefers warm, humid conditions, so a steamy bathroom or a kitchen windowsill suits it well; keep the soil lightly moist without ever letting it become waterlogged. With the right care, this plant will stay healthy and colourful for a long time.
The five things that actually matter
- Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
- Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
- Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
- Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
- Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.
Do all five and you should see nine days from this bouquet rather than five. The long version is in the journal.
Delivery
Same-day delivery is available across all 39 districts of Istanbul, on the same nine daily delivery windows from 09:00 to 22:00. Delivery is always free, on every order, everywhere we deliver in Istanbul, no threshold, no surcharge.
We deliver in our own vans with our own drivers. That is more expensive than handing it to a parcel courier, and it is the reason 98.2% of orders land inside the window you chose.
Substitution policy
Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:
- Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
- If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.
Cancellations
Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
