Four-Stem Purple Orchid with Purple Ribbons
Two double-stem purple phalaenopsis orchids in a white pot, four flowering stems finished with purple ribbons, fifty-five to sixty centimetres tall.
Purple orchids have a presence that white ones deliberately avoid. Here two double-stem purple phalaenopsis orchids share one white polymer pot, giving four full stems of deep magenta-purple flowers, and the arrangement is finished with purple ribbons tied among the stems. The colour does the talking: it reads as admiration and a little luxury, which is why it suits a birthday, an anniversary, a heartfelt thank-you or simply a way of telling someone how much they matter. Because it is a living plant it stays on show for weeks, on a dining table, a sideboard or an office shelf, long after a cut bouquet would have gone. Write a few lines on the note page after checkout and we will copy them by hand onto the card.
What is actually in it
Two double-stem purple phalaenopsis orchids, four flowering stems in total, in one white polymer pot 13 cm high and 13 cm wide, finished with purple ribbons. Overall height 55 to 60 cm. The shade of purple can vary slightly from plant to plant.
What it looks like on day four
This is a living potted orchid rather than a cut arrangement, so it keeps going well beyond the week or two of cut flowers: with the care above the blooms usually stay open for six to ten weeks, and the plant itself lives on and can flower again. Flower count and the exact shade vary slightly from plant to plant.
We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.
Orchids like a bright spot without direct sun, which scorches the leaves, so somewhere with plenty of indirect light, behind a light curtain for example, is ideal. Water with lime-free water using the soak method: let the roots drink fully, then drain off every bit of excess before the pot goes back in place. In summer that means roughly every five days, in winter once a week is enough. Cared for this way the plant stays healthy and keeps flowering for a long time.
The five things that actually matter
- Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
- Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
- Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
- Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
- Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.
Do all five and you should see nine days from this bouquet rather than five. The long version is in the journal.

Delivery
Same-day delivery is available across all 39 districts of Istanbul, on the same nine daily delivery windows from 09:00 to 22:00. Delivery is always free, on every order, everywhere we deliver in Istanbul, no threshold, no surcharge.
We deliver in our own vans with our own drivers. That is more expensive than handing it to a parcel courier, and it is the reason 98.2% of orders land inside the window you chose.
Substitution policy
Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:
- Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
- If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.
Cancellations
Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
