Potted Monstera in Purple and Orange Wrap
A potted monstera wrapped in purple and orange paper, with dried orange phalaris, purple setaria and dried lemon slices, forty to fifty centimetres tall.
For someone who would rather have a plant than flowers, or a desk that needs a bit of character. A monstera, the Swiss cheese plant with its big split leaves, comes in a polymer pot wrapped in bold purple and orange paper, and the wrap is filled out with dried orange phalaris, soft purple setaria and slices of dried lemon. The dried pieces keep their colour, so the warm purple and orange look stays as long as the plant does. Forty to fifty centimetres tall, it suits a new job or a promotion, a move into a new home, a thank-you to a colleague or a birthday for someone who has every bouquet already. Add a few lines on the note page after checkout and we will write them on the card by hand.
What is actually in it
1 monstera in a polymer pot 12 cm high and 13.5 cm wide, wrapped in purple and orange bouquet paper with dried orange phalaris, purple setaria and dried lemon slices. Overall height 40 to 50 cm. Leaf size and dried accents can vary slightly with availability.
What it looks like on day four
The monstera is a living houseplant, so there is no vase life to count down: with steady light and sensible watering it keeps growing for years. The dried phalaris, setaria and lemon slices are preserved and hold their look for a long time if kept dry and out of strong sun.
We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.
Give the monstera bright, indirect light; direct sun can burn the leaves. Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry, roughly once a week, and never leave it standing in water. Water at the base so the dried stems stay dry, and keep them away from damp; a soft brush removes dust from them.
The five things that actually matter
- Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
- Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
- Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
- Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
- Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.
Do all five and you should see nine days from this bouquet rather than five. The long version is in the journal.
Delivery
Same-day delivery is available across all 39 districts of Istanbul, on the same nine daily delivery windows from 09:00 to 22:00. Delivery is always free, on every order, everywhere we deliver in Istanbul, no threshold, no surcharge.
We deliver in our own vans with our own drivers. That is more expensive than handing it to a parcel courier, and it is the reason 98.2% of orders land inside the window you chose.
Substitution policy
Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:
- Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
- If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.
Cancellations
Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
