Red and White Gerbera Single-Tier Funeral Wreath
A 2 metre funeral wreath with red gerberas above and white gerberas below, framed in red crepe paper on a tall wrapped stand, for a funeral in Istanbul.
When you hear of a loss in Istanbul and cannot travel in time, a funeral wreath lets your condolences arrive before the ceremony. Deep red gerberas fill the top of a teardrop and pure white gerberas the lower part, framed in red crepe paper and finished with red ribbon and fibre, on a tall wrapped stand about 2 metres high. The contrast of red and white is a traditional pairing at Turkish funerals, red for love and respect, white for peace, and it is the most striking of our single-tier wreaths. Your condolence message is written on the ribbon sash, so the family knows who sent it. We deliver to mosques, cemeteries, funeral homes and family homes across all 39 districts of Istanbul, same day for orders placed before 18:00 Istanbul time. Add the ceremony time and venue in the delivery instructions and our team plans the drop-off around it.
What is actually in it
Red and white gerberas with green leaves in a teardrop on a red crepe paper frame, finished with red ribbon and red fibre, on a red-wrapped stand about 2 metres tall in total, with a ribbon sash for your message. The shade of the paper can vary slightly.
What it looks like on day four
Gerberas are prepared fresh for each order and open fully on the day of the funeral. In floral foam they usually stay bright for three to four days, long enough for the ceremony and the first days when relatives and friends come to offer condolences.
We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.
The flowers are set in wet floral foam on the wreath frame, so no vase or water is needed. The wreath is best kept upright where it was placed, out of direct sun. After the funeral, a light mist of water over the flowers each morning keeps them fresh during the days of condolence visits.
The five things that actually matter
- Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
- Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
- Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
- Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
- Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.
Do all five and you should see nine days from this bouquet rather than five. The long version is in the journal.

Delivery
Same-day delivery is available across all 39 districts of Istanbul, on the same nine daily delivery windows from 09:00 to 22:00. Delivery is always free, on every order, everywhere we deliver in Istanbul, no threshold, no surcharge.
We deliver in our own vans with our own drivers. That is more expensive than handing it to a parcel courier, and it is the reason 98.2% of orders land inside the window you chose.
Substitution policy
Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:
- Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
- If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.
Cancellations
Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
