35 White Gerberas with Eucalyptus, Funeral Stand

Thirty-five white gerberas are set among eucalyptus and dark green leaves in a round head on a black wrought-iron stand, 98 cm tall. White is the colour most families in Turkey expect at a funeral, a quiet sign of peace and remembrance, and gerberas keep their open faces bright through a long day of prayers and visits. The narrow 23 cm stand fits easily in a crowded courtyard or hallway. Your condolence message is written on the ribbon sash, so the family knows who sent it. What is actually in it

Exactly thirty-five white gerberas with eucalyptus and green leaves, arranged in a round head on a black wrought-iron stand about 98 cm tall and 23 cm wide, with a ribbon sash for your message. The greenery can vary slightly with what is freshest on the day.

What it looks like on day four

Gerberas are prepared fresh for each order and open fully on the day of the funeral. In floral foam they usually stay bright for three to four days, long enough for the ceremony and the first days when relatives and friends come to offer condolences.

We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.

This arrangement is set in wet floral foam on its stand and needs no vase or water. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heaters. If it stays at the family home after the ceremony, a light mist of water over the flowers each morning helps them stay fresh.

The five things that actually matter

1. Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
2. Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
3. Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
4. Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
5. Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.

Delivery

Substitution policy

Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:

• Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
• If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.

Cancellations

Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
