White Daisies and Pink Gerberas in a Beige Ribbed Vase

Some gifts do not need a big occasion. This one pairs clouds of white spray daisies, a classic sign of innocence and fresh starts, with three soft pink gerberas that bring warmth and a smile, finished with sprigs of eucalyptus. What is actually in it

White spray daisies with exactly three pink gerberas and eucalyptus, in a beige ribbed polymer vase 20 cm tall and 9.3 cm wide, about 35 to 40 cm tall in total. Small variations in the shade of the gerberas are natural.

What it looks like on day four

Fresh-cut flowers keep changing after they arrive: some buds open over the first two or three days, which is part of what keeps the arrangement looking good for longer. With fresh water and a trim every couple of days, expect around seven days of good looks, sometimes more.

We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.

This arrangement arrives ready in its vase. Top the water up to the original level every day or two with room-temperature water, add the flower food provided, and keep it away from direct sun, radiators and draughts. Trim a few millimetres off the stems when you change the water and remove any bloom that fades so the rest last longer.

The five things that actually matter

1. Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
2. Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
3. Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
4. Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
5. Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.

Substitution policy

Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:

• Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
• If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.

Cancellations

Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
