Guzmania in Yellow Gift Wrap
A bright guzmania bromeliad with lavender, pampas grass and wheat stalks in a round white pot, wrapped in sunny yellow paper.
The guzmania's vivid, long-lasting flower head is the centrepiece of this arrangement, set in a round white polymer pot wrapped in bright yellow gift paper. Sprigs of lavender, soft pampas grass, wheat stalks and dried cedar rose textures add a natural, fragrant character around the base, while a dark green ribbon finishes the presentation with a clean, simple touch. The bright yellow wrap meets the guzmania's bold colour for a sunny, energetic composition that suits a new home, a birthday, a recovery, or a genuine thank-you equally well. Use the note page after checkout to add a few personal lines and make the gift even more meaningful.
What is actually in it
This gift is a single potted guzmania bromeliad, finished with lavender, pampas grass, wheat stalks and dried cedar rose, in a round white polymer pot roughly 12 cm tall, wrapped in yellow gift paper with a dark green ribbon. The overall arrangement stands 40 to 50 cm. Small natural variations in bloom colour can occur depending on seasonal availability.
What it looks like on day four
As a potted bromeliad rather than a cut arrangement, this gift keeps its striking colour for months rather than days, one of the longer-lasting gifts in our range.
We photograph every listing on the bench under daylight. The image you are looking at is the arrangement, not a mood board.
Guzmania should be kept out of direct sunlight, as strong sun can fade the colour of its striking flower head. The plant is sensitive to hard water, so always water it with still or filtered water. Guzmania prefers warm, humid conditions, placing it somewhere with a little extra humidity helps it thrive. Keep the soil lightly moist without overwatering, and this guzmania will stay healthy and colourful for a long time.
The five things that actually matter
- Recut the stems. Two centimetres off at a 45° angle, under running water if you can. Air locks in the stem are the main cause of early droop.
- Strip leaves below the waterline. Submerged foliage rots and turns the water bacterial within a day.
- Change the water, do not just top it up. Every two days, with the sachet we include.
- Keep them away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene, which ages cut flowers dramatically faster.
- Cool and out of direct sun. A radiator or a sunny windowsill will halve the vase life of anything.
Do all five and you should see nine days from this bouquet rather than five. The long version is in the journal.
Delivery
Same-day delivery is available across all 39 districts of Istanbul, on the same nine daily delivery windows from 09:00 to 22:00. Delivery is always free, on every order, everywhere we deliver in Istanbul, no threshold, no surcharge.
We deliver in our own vans with our own drivers. That is more expensive than handing it to a parcel courier, and it is the reason 98.2% of orders land inside the window you chose.
Substitution policy
Fresh flowers are an agricultural product. Occasionally the market does not have what we planned for, especially with seasonal stems like peonies. When that happens we do one of two things, and never anything else:
- Substitute a stem of equal or greater value in the same colour family, and email you a photograph before dispatch so you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.
- If no acceptable substitute exists, we call you. We will not quietly send something different and hope you do not notice.
Cancellations
Change or cancel free until 18:00 the day before delivery. After that the flowers are cut and conditioned specifically for your order, so cancellation is not possible — this is the perishable-goods exception under distance-selling rules, and it is stated again at checkout before you pay.
