Flower Delivery to an Istanbul Hotel or Hospital: What the Courier Actually Needs

Two of the addresses we deliver to most often, after private homes, are hotels and hospitals, and both cause more delivery friction than a normal street address, not because they're far away but because "the address" isn't really the point, the person at reception or the nurses' station is. Get that part right and the delivery is no harder than any other.

Each case has its own page with the exact details: send flowers to a hotel in Istanbul and send flowers to a hospital in Istanbul.

Delivering to a hotel guest

Give us the hotel name, the guest's full name exactly as it appears on their reservation, and their arrival date if you're timing the flowers to greet them, not to hand to them directly. Most hotels in Istanbul are used to receiving flowers for guests and will hold them at reception or place them in the room ahead of check-in if asked, but they need the reservation name to match, not a nickname or a shortened version.

From the shop

Delivering to a hospital

Give us the hospital name, the patient's full name, and the ward or room number if you have it, our courier will confirm at the nurses' station if not. One thing worth knowing before you order: some wards, particularly intensive care and certain post-surgical units, restrict fresh-cut flowers for infection-control reasons. If you're not certain the ward allows them, a potted plant or a balloon add-on is usually accepted where cut flowers aren't, and we're happy to advise if you tell us the hospital and ward when you order.

What actually makes these deliveries succeed

The single most useful thing you can do is give the receiving name exactly as the hotel or hospital has it on file, and a phone number our courier can call if reception needs a second confirmation. That's a smaller ask than it sounds, and it's the difference between a delivery that reaches the right room on the first attempt and one that gets held at a desk.

Order before our 18:00 same-day cutoff, and mention the hotel or hospital name, guest or patient name, and any ward detail at checkout.

Frequently asked

What information do you need for a hotel delivery?

The hotel name, the guest's full name exactly as it appears on their reservation, and their arrival date if the flowers should be ready before they check in.

Can flowers be delivered to any hospital ward?

Usually, but some wards, particularly intensive care and certain post-surgical units, restrict fresh-cut flowers for infection control. A potted plant or balloon is often accepted instead, tell us the ward when you order and we'll advise.

What makes a hotel or hospital delivery most likely to succeed on the first attempt?

Giving the receiving name exactly as the venue has it on file, plus a phone number our courier can call if reception needs to confirm.
